Charity Sunrise Walk, 13th September

Mark your calendars for an inspiring start to your weekend—on Saturday 13 September, GibSams proudly presents Sunrise of Hope, a heartfelt community event to support mental wellbeing and solidarity across Gibraltar. This gathering will be a powerful way to begin the day together—at sunrise—with connection, reflection, and shared purpose.

What to Expect:

Community Gathering at Dawn
We’ll gather in Casemates Square, have a gentle warm up, collect a painted stone and depart on the walk of choice. This gentle start allows time to centre ourselves, embrace hope, and stand with those living with mental health challenges.
Light Refreshments & Connection
After our sunrise walk, join us for tea, coffee, and a healthy breakfast. It’s a chance to connect with friends, share experiences, and foster the community bonds that underpin emotional resilience.
Why It Matters

Starting the day together signals more than a beautiful view—it’s a shared commitment to hope, recoveryand community care. Mental wellbeing often begins in those early moments when we choose compassion over isolation, connection over withdrawal.

In last night’s appearance on The Hub (GBC), our team spoke about how Sunrise to Hope aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and remind us all of the power we hold in supporting one another. Whether you’ve attended other GibSams events or are joining us for the first time, this dawn gathering offers an unhurried space to just be—with others, with hope.
